Gambar dibawah adalah lelaki yg kehilangan kekasih disebelahnyer akibat kemalangan ketika mereka ber SMS. Lelaki tersebut tak tau teman wanitanya sedang memandu dan sempat menerima balasan dari wanita tersebut ' I love you too...' sebelum maut terlanggar truck di hadapannyer. Ini bukanlah kes pertama berlaku di dunia. Byk kemalangan yg disebbkn oleh penggunaan telefon ketika memandu.
Kisah ni adalah pengajaran yg sgt berguna kpd sesiapa saja yg suka ber sms ketika memandu. Aku tak nafikan, aku salah seorg dari mereka yg suka jwb sms masa drive.....wpun bukan setiap hari...kdg².........x sabar² nak reply. Lepas ni haruslah lebih byk bersabar dan tunggu masa yg sesuai utk jawab sms.
MONTREAL — A grieving boyfriend has released the final, romantic text message that his girlfriend typed before she slammed into the back of a transport truck and was killed instantly.
Emy Brochu, 20, died east of Montreal, prompting lover Mathieu Fortin to post their deadly exchange on Facebook to raise awareness about the dangers of texting behind the wheel.
Fortin says he didn't know his girlfriend was driving when he texted, "I love you Mme Brochu."
Her final text message read, "I love you too and I will try my best to make you happy Mr. Fortin."
The woman's car then collided with the truck around 10:45 a.m. Fortin, unaware of what happened, sent several other texts including one that read, "I would have preferred to hear your beautiful voice, but anyway...we'll talk again this evening before six. Have a good day at school bb, I kiss you all over :)"
After his next text went unanswered at 12:27 p.m., he sent Brochu another message at 1:24 p.m.
"Is everything ok my love?" he wrote.
The final posted message, sent at 2:48 p.m., reads "bb, I'm a little worried there."
The police investigation found Brochu collided with the truck because she was distracted by her cellphone. Fortin said the reality of her death has yet to sink in.
"It was a shock to me, since I was communicating with her," he wrote on his Facebook page.
In a plea to the public, he wrote: "I hope that every time you look at your cell when you're driving, you will think of Emy."
He ended his post by writing "it could be a child crossing the street while you're staring at your phone...THINK HARD!"
Fortin and Brochu's mother declined interviews with QMI Agency because they say they're still too shaken.
Quebec's automobile insurance board says texting while driving increases the risk of a crash because the driver takes their eyes off the road for between 4.6 and six seconds.
At a speed of 90 km/h, that's like driving the length of a football field with your eyes closed.
